Changing Pastoral Lenses: Indonesian Churches Role in Promoting Christian Mediation
He began his career as a public defender since 2005 at Mawar Saron Legal Aid Institution and served as Director for 8 years (2009-2017). He is also member of the Indonesian Advocate Association (PERADI) and a certified Mediator from the Indonesian Institute for Conflict Transformation (IICT). In pursuing his dedication to human rights; juvenile justice, he has been entrusted to represent Republic of Indonesia as speaker on International forums: 8th Australia Community Support Organization (ACSO) International Criminal Justice Conference (Melbourne 2015), 3rd Peace; Conflict Resolution Conference (Bangkok 2016) and Side event on the 34th Session of the UN Human Rights Council (Geneva 2017). His writings have also been incorporated in the publication: “Promoting Restorative Justice for Children” (pg. 25, box. 15) reported to the UN General Assembly Meeting in New York (2013) by the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations on Violence against Children. In contribution to give his legal expertise to the society, he has been appointed as member of the Salvation Army Indonesia Territorial Advisory Board (2015) & member of the Steering Committee of the Asia Pacific Mediation Forum (2016-2018).
