Litigation or Mitigation? How and why mitigation could be the best way out in between

I am a peace studies graduate from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completion four-year graduation and one year master’s degrees from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Dhaka, I joined the this department as a lecturer in 2008. I got promotion as an Assistant Professor in 2012. I went on study leave from the University of Dhaka to pursue higher study in the University of Bergen, Norway in 2014. This study was accomplished under Norwegian Government Fellowship. I have successfully completed the degree and awarded MPhil certificate in 2016. The M. Phil thesis titled- Challenges of Implementing Peace Accord: The Case of Chittagong Hill Tracts Peace Accord (CHTPA) in Bangladesh was supervised by Professor Ishtiaq Jamil of the Department of Administration and Organization Theory, University of Bergen, Norway. I have published numbers of journal articles and book chapters both from home and abroad. My academic interests include: theories and practices of conflict resolution, peace accords and their implementation challenges, and security studies. At present I am teaching the course titled Theories and Practices of Conflict Resolution at undergraduate level.
