DA NANG – HUE ANCIENT CITY TOUR

ITINERARY:

Day 1: IMPERIAL CITADEL – KHAI DINH TOMB – THIEN MU PAGODA (Lunch, Dinner)

7h30-8h00: Driver and guide pick you up from your hotel, depart to Hue crossing Hai Van Tunnel which is the longest and the most modern tunnel in the Southeast Asia. 

9h30: Arrive in Hue, you will visit:

Hue Citadel: which was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in 1993. Experienced many vicissitudes of history, Hue Citadel is still long-lasting and remain the cherished values. Learn about the 13 Nguyen dynasty kings ruled for over 140 years.

13h30: After that, we will continue to visit:

Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s oldest and most beautiful pagoda, considered as the symbol of religion and spirit of Hue people.

Day 2: MY SƠN HOLY LAND – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (Breakfast, Lunch)

8h00: Driver and guilde pick you up from your hotel. Starting this morning with visiting My Son Holy Land

11h00: Arrive in My Son, you are going to find out a unique beautiful sanctuary world of the ancient Cham religion. You will have a chance to discover My Son- the old Holy Land of Cham kingdom with secret mossy towers in the 19th century, enjoy featured music show of Cham people, discover The Marian Pilgrimage Center of Tra Kieu where once located the first capital city of the Hindu Champa Kingdom

13h00: Have lunch at local restaurant

14h00: Continue to visit Hoi An Ancient Town. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of this quaint town visiting:

14h00: Check in Hotel in Hoi An town. Then free schedule to visit Hoi An.

Day 2: TRA QUE HERB VILLAGE – DA NANG (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, meet up our tour guide and start riding bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village.

Introduction to the history of the village, the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering about the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine.

You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities.

Then spend the rest of the morning working the land in the time honoured way, before breaking to prepare lunch with a local family.

Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including tam huu spring roll, Banh xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region.

After your lunch and the exertions of the morning, take an even more traditional Vietnamese post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.

Around 15.00, bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, on the way back stop by Nhat tomb and thousand-year-old Ba Le well.

The tour finishes at your hotel, driver pick up, heading back to Da Nang city.
